Art and wine tour by bike in the Venetian hills

This tour gives you the opportunity to discover the highlights of the Natural Park of Colli Euganei.
The Euganean hills are a group of volcanic hills that rise 50 km from Venice and 20 km from Padua. In this area Venetian noblemen built their residences during the Renaissance.
Thanks to their volcanic origin, the soils here are rich in minerals that gives special character to the wine.
Arrival by train from Venice to Terme Euganee Montegrotto station. Deliver of the bike at our shop in Montegrotto terme (10 min by feet from railway station).
Start your self guided tour and discover this beautiful natural area.
Visit the Villa dei Vescovi, a Renaissance Venetian Villa, residence of the Bishop of Padua for many centuries and have a walk in the Italian garden! The Villa was built during the XVI century on the top of a hill surrounded by vineyards and sweet hills.
Back to your bike, cycle among hills always in plain and reach a local cellar biodiversity friend.
The wine maker will guide you for a visit of his cellar and he will offer you a light lunch with 4 wine tasting. You can taste the local Muscat, the Serprino and Prosecco, the red Merlot and Cabernet (paired with local cheese and salami) and understand how soil and microclimate influence the taste of the wine.
