The Venetian villas in the inland of Venice

After you visited Venice and Padua, you can’t miss to discover the inland of Venice and the Venetian villas in the Euganean Hills with a full day tour among the highlights of this area.

We start our tour in the morning with the visit at the charming Villa dei Vescovi, the residence of the Bishop of Padua during the last centuries, inspired from classical themes and decorated with frescos. The villa is fully immersed in the Natural Park of the Euganean Hills, a real green island in the heart of Veneto region.

Tips for free lunch.

We will discover then the beauty of Valsanzibio, an ancient village and its gorgeous Villa Barbarigo Gardens also known “the little Versailles”, thanks to its water tricks, fountains, statues and its mysterious maze.

At the end of this beautiful afternoon, we will visit Catajo Castle, the place where you can feel a nobleman of the Renaissance, walking around the charming frescoed halls, through the Giants’ Courtyard and the Garden of Delights.

Be sure the art and nature of the Euganean Hills will conquer your heart!
