The meeting point is at the Euganean Spas, near Padua and Venice, for an experience in the Euganean Hills, the “green islands” of the Veneto region.
We reach the Garden of Villa Barbarigo with its baroque architectures, water tricks, fountains and statues. Also known as “the little Versailles” and “the pearl of the Euganean hills”, the Baroque Monumental Garden of 1665 is considered one of the most significant historic gardens in Europe, also awarded with the Prize of the most beautiful Garden in Italy in 2003.
We will then visit a local oil mill to taste and learn about the extra virgin olive oil of the Euganean Hills.
We will finally reach the local winery and while the winemaker will explain us his work in the farm, we will have a tasting of 5 wines with a snack based on traditional Venetian products (meats and cheeses) and a tasting of his honey.
