This new and exclusive rowing boat excursion will allow us to peacefully sail the canals of Padua along the Renaissance walls, caressed only by the sound of the oars that will push the boat from Torlonga to Bastione Alicorno, passing through Porta Saracinesca.
In the internal canal of the city “Naviglio interno” we will encounter buildings that reflect their most beautiful and elegant facades on the canal. After passing the Specola, better known as the Astronomical Observatory Tower, and the Barriera di Porta Saracinesca, we will skirt the Renaissance walls of Padua along the “Tronco Maestro”. Our panorama will change right here and will be dominated by the lush green of the vegetation that winds along the city walls.
In the quiet of the evening we will discover a secret and safe landing place that will open the doors to a magical place: the Torre del Soccorso (also known as the Torre del Boia) which will host us for a wine tasting in the relaxing setting of the park.
The boats are led by expert rowers from Rari Nantes Patavium 1905, an amateur sports association dedicated to Venetian rowing and the enhancement of cultural and environmental assets.
The stretches of the canals, mostly in the shade, and the cool microclimate make this tour also suitable for the summer period.
