The medieval village of Arquà Petrarca

We are in the inland of Venice, in the middle of the natural Park of Colli Euganei.

Arquà Petrarca is the most interesting Euganean hilly center from the architectural and urban point of view. One of the best preserved medieval villages, it is considered one of the most lovely village in Italy.

The great Italian poet Francesco Petrarca lived here during the 14th century and his house and tomb were destination for literary pilgrimage for centuries.

Accompanied by our guide, you can visit the medieval village, the Memorial house of the poet and taste the “Brodo di giuggiole”, the famous local liquor.

Day: every Sunday at 10.00 am and in other days on request

Meeting point:

  • our shop in Via Aureliana 50, 35036 Montegrotto Terme PD. You can arrive also by train from Padua, Venice or Bologna with direct trains. Free parking in Via Aureliana.
  • your hotel at Terme Euganee

Price: € 35 adult per person for minimum 2 people. €24 child (6-12 years). Child under 6 years free. Guide, liquor tasting and transfer included. Children will be offered a glass of juice.

Duration: 2,5 hours
