Our experience starts at Battaglia Terme, an ancient inland port in the area of the Euganean Spa and Hills, at few km from Padua and 50 km from Venice.
The boat tour is a slow experience with four gondoliers of the local rowing club on a Venetian traditional wood boat (caorlina). This hilly area of the Natural Park of the Euganean Hills is entirely surrounded by waterways. In the past, the stone extracted from the local quarries, cereals ans wine were shipped along these old canals toward Venice and the rich Rialto market.
At the end of the boat tour, we reach by feet a local winery where the producer will explain us every type of wine we will taste: Seprino, Pinot blanc, Merlot, Cabernet.
